Oladapo Akande is a law graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He obtained his Masters degree (LL.M) in International Economic Law, Intellectual Property, and information Technology Law from the London School of Economics, with a mark of merit. He holds a Doctorate degree from Magdalene College, University of Cambridge, in International Law and is presently a law lecturer at the University of Nottingham, U.K.

An expert in his field, he has written and presented several papers on Law of the Sea, International Law, United Nations Policies & Organs, Advisory Jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and U.N. Arbitral Tribunals, at various conferences in the United States, Cairo, South Africa, etc.

His indepth knowledge of International Law and diligent research ability has earned him recognition and roles as research personnel and adviser to various International Tribunals, Judges, Universities, and Counsel, including Her Excellency Judge Rosalyn Higgins DBN QC (Centre of International Law, The Hague, Netherlands), His Excellency Prince Bola Ajibola KBE, SAN (formerly of the ICJ, The Hague and formerly Nigerianís Ambassador to the U.K.), Professor Elihu lauterpacht CBE QC, and Prime Solicitors, Nigeria, among others. His Intellectual ability and International contacts have been of immense assistance to us, particularly in our advisory services to our clients in International Law and International business contracts.
